We will provide you with a written estimate of our likely charges, explain how those charges are calculated, and update you regularly if anything changes. Our aim is to give you confidence, clarity and control — so you can make informed decisions without financial uncertainty.

In many areas of work, including buying or selling a property, we are able to offer fixed fees, giving you complete peace of mind from the outset. We do not add hidden charges and we do not surprise you with unexpected costs.

How Our Fees Work

Every legal matter is different, and costs can vary depending on complexity, urgency and the amount of work required. Before we begin:

We explain our fees clearly and in plain language
We confirm whether your matter can be handled on a fixed fee or hourly basis
We outline any likely additional costs (such as court or third-party fees)
We provide ongoing updates as your case progresses

VAT & Disbursements

VAT is payable on our fees at the current rate (currently 20%)
VAT may also be payable on some disbursements
Disbursements are third-party costs paid on your behalf (such as court fees or search fees)
These will always be explained and agreed in advance
